Purification Supervisor for a producer of therapeutic peptides for pharmaceutical and biotech uses located in Torrance, CA. Department: ProductionPrimary Job Responsibilities:Responsible for the purification, finishing and shipping operation of GMP peptidesCoordinating with other departments where applicableResponsible for maintaining compliance of the Purification, Lyophilization and Finishing GMP labsScale up of GMP peptide purificationResponsible for process optimization in purification areaEnsuring that all cGMP and safety regulations are followedWriting of appropriate equipment SOP’s and Master Batch RecordsReviewing SOP’s and Master Batch RecordsEnsuring completeness of executed Batch recordsPerforming data evaluation of executed Batch recordsResponsible for entire Production functions in absence of Director of manufacturingCommunicating all relevant information to Director of manufacturing and appropriate department headsPerform related duties as assigned.Requires: BS or MS with 5 - 10 years of experience in FDA regulated environment. Team-oriented. Excellent communication skills.
