About Yazzmin:

My name is Yazzmin and I am a recent college graduate from the University of Wisconsin- Madison with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology. I hope to return to school next year at the University of california Irvine to pursue graduate degrees in Social Work and Education/Child Development.

I think am qualified to be a tutor because I have experience counseling at-risk and was a math tutor for a high school aged boy with severe developmental disabilities. Additionally I was an education intern at a Children’s Museum where I facilitated workshops for children of all ages, learning abilities, and attention spans. In my mind, a qualified individual is someone who believes in positive reinforcement, has an innovative mind and has a patient soul. I feel I can meet those needs and the needs of the children while having fun and making learning fun.
